Detwinner v1.00.001 – Initial release
Detwinner 1.00.001 – neat duplicate file finder – released on August 22, 2011.
Main features:
- search for duplicates in multiple folders;
- presets management and 6 preinstalled ones;
- wildcards for scan & ignore masks;
- list of folders to protect;
- skip hidden and system files, file with specified size and date;
- smart selection: first/last in group, newest/oldest, with longest/shortest file name or path;
- deletion types: permanent, recycle bin, backup folder;
- file preview (including images);
- watching search progress in the real time.
Well, Detwinner actually can do everything stated above. And with all this it is incredible modest when it’s about your PC resources. Tools that should make life easier should not make life harder, as Captain Obvious would say. Try it and see.
